My question is about what's happening in melbourne...
Is there any organised group planning on meeting up or a 'collective'?
Just curious... There's been some talk of methods to generate interest and such... perhaps we could organise something for melbourne...?
let me know via pm.
thanks,
ttc

there is, unlike sydney however it doesnt have scedualed meetings at scedualed places, rather its kept in tight nick with one another to avoid inflitration from the outside. usually by short messages/text msgs to one another, if your intrested however. PM me your mobile number/Email etc.

Rofl! You cunt's can't even get out of bed for a 12 noon rally on time, I don' t think you have to worry about infiltration from anyone who might see you as a threat :-P :-P

for various reasons, we prefer to meet the people were working with and establish bonds of trust with them. whilst this might seem like paranoia, this is to protect the identities of our comrades whom are not specifically australian citizens or have to travel between countries to be with family and friends or otherwise. We're also aware that at present theres some people that actually do hope to infiltrate our actions. hence we are secretive in nature about allowing new members to join unless they are known to other members of the collective. its for security purposes and we have to respect the desires of everyone affiliated with us. Thats not to say were not an 'open' collective so to speak, rather we'd like to know who attends our meetings/actions.

That sounds incredibly problematic, and making it out to be a / a difficult organization to organize with and b/ to hard to get involved in. Although I understand the desire to be in an environment where you know everyone and so on, fact is, it's always going to be possible for you to be infiltrated. That's the nature of these states, of all states - to crush rebellion. If you maintain yourself as a small group of revolutionaries, you'll essentially be ineffective.
