i think its best that we resize them first to 75 pixel width.

i just checked them out and they REALLY need to be resized. most are WAY too big to be an avatar. so resize them to width of 75 pixel or less then upload them using imageshack or photobucket or something, and use that URL. I could do it, if its a problem, i just dont have the time right now though.

i changed my avatar to one of the ones on the list (bookchin) but for some reason it doesnt seem to be working. is it just me or can no one see my bookchin avatar?

yeah, i couldnt get an avatar to work either yo. like, id put a custom url in and save the profile and then go back to it and there would be nothing there....
its happened to me on other proboards forums before trying to use custom avatars, but never had a problem with one thats already on the list

fixed the Bookchin image.
In future, do not use google thumbnails, they dont work.
rescale the images yourself.
